The Starblog, a place in which dollies can find out what the new hotbuys are going to be, new features, stuff about celebrities and a couple of other fashion related sections. To get a place on the team you have to write an application and wait for Stardoll Staff to get back to you saying whether or not you have actually been accepted.
For a while, the Starblog was interesting enough, but now...it seems as if the standards of the posts are falling. People are losing interest, the posts are getting too similar and there's not enough variety, only one or two are really standing out for most. From asking around, it seems as if the members are getting sick of the Posh24 posts.
A couple of months back, there was the Starblog acceptance letter catastrophe, where all the members who had applied that week received FALSE letters confirming their acceptance, when they hadn't really gotten in. I was one of the people who was knocked over by this despicable error on Stardoll's behalf. I know I'm not the only one who can say they were greatly let down by this. It's made me question my writing skills, as silly as it may sound to you...but after 16 disapprovals and one fake one, it really does make you wonder...especially when you see the quality of the more recently accepted Starblogger's posts.
I have no intention of blogging about stupid fashion tips, nor do I have the intention of using the blog for the limelight or bring the eyes of my fellow members on my stardollie friends. I wish to use the blog as a way to reach out to members suffering from bullying. I want them to know that there is someone who cares out there as those of you who know me well would know how much strongly I feel about this important topic. I'd even vary it now and again to post stories and poetry, but no, Stardoll won't give me the chance. Is it really the only way you can now be on SB ...if you strictly post about medoll and make-up rubbish?
I asked Stardoll Royalty this question: "Is the quality of the Starblog falling some-what?" and this is what they have replied with:-

As a whole, the Starblog seems boring and unoriginal to me. Many are the same. Simple outfits with very little imagination, friends of the bloggers featured, celebrities, old make-up tips. I'd love to see something new. -Serendibite

Hm...I wonder what the next LE collection will be like, but I'm kinda feeling as if Stardoll is bleeding us dry of stardollars, there's been so many new collections out recently including a new Antidote that I think everyone is a bit out of pocket.
Let's just hope this new LE will be a nicer collection than the past few.
I love this new party interior, it's really nice.
Ice Age is something I've grown up with and it's lovely to see it on Stardoll.
You can also get a Scrat for your suite if you watch that The Wanted music video.
A new feature has come to Parties(I refuse to call them by their new name) and quite frankly I find it a waste of time on Stardoll's part.
When you enter/create a party you can click on a new button labled "Games" and it comes up with another option which when you click brings you to another room which looks like this:-
The aim of the game is to fill all the stars up on the little bar thing besides your doll and be the first to do so, then you become the winner.
You don't get anything for winning, it's just for fun.
I love the room they made for it, it's pretty, but as a person who has gone from using the Party feature daily to once a month, I'm not really fussed over it.
Hmm...I wonder why this sudden sale.
I don't personally need to take advantage of this offer because I already have all three, I had the Alpine Chalet as soon as it came out.
Hm...it would be a nice surpise to have a new one as the third and final update.

Another new collection came out today, consisting of two floors.
There was a lot of hype on the build up to this collection, personally, I don't see why.
It's very "rock 'n' roll-y" which some nice pieces, but in all honesty I think the last collection(Nicholas Kirkwood) beats it by a long shot.
Decent graphics, nice colours, vulgar shoes and very expensive.
One item, however I think we can all agree we can afford:-
Ah yes, the very ironic named "Banana Glitch 'Disgusting' Wedges" which can be yours for 12starCOINS.
Even at that price, I don't believe I will be getting them...they're just plain YUCK!

SDWMM introduced a new author this week, my good friend, Carys(snowflakelove12)
Carys will be bringing you tips, gossip and anything else related to Sceneries as that happens to be a field she has much experience in while I-on the other hand-am pretty much a newb when it comes down to poses and such. I may have been around Stardoll/Paperdoll Heaven an awful long time(8 years), but Sceneries are something that I haven't really started using up until last year.

Fun fact:- This entire collection costs well over 5700 stardollars.
Yes, I'm a tad late posting this but I had to go somewhere and my laptop overheated. xD
So today we saw the new addition of four floors to Antidote and less than an hour of it being out, we already have seen one item sell out(The Pink Water Dress, sorry folks if you didn't get it).
Before I give you my opinion, let's see the floors.
I'm inlove with the backgrounds of all four floors, they're amazing, don't you agree?
I ended up buying 12 items and spending well over 500 stardollars, but it's Antidote, what could one expect?
Here's what I got:-
I loveeeeeee that jacket, it has to be my favourite item out of this collection of over 100, I'm kinda kicking myself about not buying the Water dress now, it seems like it's going to become quite a rare item, selling out THAT fast.
I asked the SDR'ers and OC'ers what their opinions on this new collection were, here's just a few of them(THANKS GUYS!):-
I purchased the Pink Water Dress and the Black Desert Top. As a whole, I
found the collection entirely too gaudy and over-priced, but the latter
isn't exactly new for Antidote. :L I only really liked the Black Desert
Top, the Pink Water Dress looked like it would be popular so I bought
it to re-sell at a later date.

With broadcast only showing member achievements and nothing else broadcasting wise going through...I don't see how broadcasting is going to be much help in getting you these titles.
In other words, it's now a complete and utter waste of five stardollars.

Okay so I logged in this morning and to my horror got attacked by blue boxes! Then I found a new down button beneath my suite and above my presentation which brought me to a table:-
At first, I didn't know what the hell this madness was until I spoke to my friend, tokyocartoons and had a quick glance at USD.
Achievements
are tasks that can be completed to win awards and gain point. Each one you do, you receive an award that can be displayed on your achievement shelf under your suite.
Earning achievements will give you Starpoints which will help you level
up faster and will unlock new items as well as functions on the website.
There are 6 categories: Core, Design, Sell,
Social, Collect and Competitions.
Core - achieved by completing various introductory and fundamental
challenges on Stardoll.
Collect - achieved by ownership of a certain number of items at one
specific moment, the member will keep his/her awards even if he/she will
sell anything after reaching the limit.
Competitions - achieved by winning Stardoll’s global competitions where
all members have had a chance to win.
Sell - achieved by selling items in StarBazaar, both own designs and
items bought in shop including the gift shop.
Social - achieved by activity in community features such as number of
members in the user’s own club, certain number of friends. Some social
achievements are unavailable for Kidsafe members.
Design - achieved by designing and buying items from in the 4 StarDesign
Studios. (StarDesign Fashion, StarDesign Interior, StarDesign Jewelry,
StarDesign Hair)
You can put a maximum of 15 awards on the top shelf.
I just did a quick save around and this is a couple of examples of what happens when you achieve a certain award:-
Hm..interesting at least now we know what that mysterious letter we all received the other day was going on about and that "new quicker way to level up"
Personally, I'm not too over-keen on this feature. I feel as if Stardoll if pushing us more and more into competing against one another if it's not for CG, NCG, Scenery, Starmovie, Album or Stardesign it's for higher levels or now the most trophies, that's not what Stardoll was originally about at all.
Flicking around the clubs, these are just a few opinions:-
I quite like it, since I'm in such a hurry to get the 4000sp hair! :3
This made it /much/ easier for me! I do think the little "chime" sound
it does after you get a reward, is quite annoying.. and loud. But,
nothing can be perfect!

like it, but I wish we could get more points. only 25 for winning cg?

TiaraPanda(otherwise known as Lola) is a very good friend of mine and an amazing, kind-hearted, sweet, awesome, funny, mature person who owns three very successful Roleplay clubs, manages my own club "SilentTears-OFF" and I consider her a very vaild member of our team.
She's always there with an ear when someone is down, willing to help or share inspiritaional quotes that manages to always make another smile.
Here's a couple of examples of her posts from "SilentTears-OFF" and after reading just one of them you will see exactly what I mean:-

Reccently she's been having a bit of bad luck health wise, so I think it would be nice if you could pop over to her suite and post a kind, encouraging Guestbook message of your own? and maybe even vote her because she really is a one in a million.

Vanished? No, your topics were deleted as a part of Stardoll's silly idea of "keeping fresh"
Yes, yes I know, it's infuriating that they did it and I felt it was a silly thing to do without consulting it's members about such things first, but, I can also see why they did it.
Maybe these topics were clogging up their system too much? I don't know...
I feel as if Stardoll didn't consider all the cons of the mass deletion at all, I mean just because a topic hasn't had a reply in a while doesn't mean it's ready for the scrap yard and is no longer needed.

I feel like some of my hardwork is gone now through my clubs. Like I
had a club where I'd write songs, all gone now. I was devastated. Also,
in my fan club, all my hot spot topics were gone and everything else!
It wasd horrible! In SDR, I was looking for a topic so me and Elise
could plan more stuff. Gone. I hate this. Stardoll is not doing much
good lately.

simplicity that made Stardoll popular in the first place (also referring
to the star-point crisis)?

They should have at least warned us before doing so!
There a
lot of users which have written complete - yes complete - stories in
clubs. Some of these might not seem very impressive, others are amazing.
In any case, those stories were of emotional value for the writers
themselves, and throwing them away like garbage is just bad. Those writers should have at least been given a chance to copy the stories and save them on their computers.

Now when you actually reach your next level, a window pops up (like the one above) telling you what you've unlocked exactly along with 3starcoins.
I suppose this is pretty nice and at least you're aware that you've reached the next level and unlocked something new.

Pretty nice, good graphics, very summery, nice collection of cheerful colours and most of all:- decent prices However, if you're looking to get a few pieces, you better make sure you have at least 50 stardollars spare.
I'm not too over-keen on the clothes but I adore a majority of the shoes, I especially love the shoe candle thing! It looks amazing the thing I don't like about it? The price.

Reccently, Robin's OC(OriginalClub) got deleted once again so around about the same time we were greeted with the new Starlevel system the OC'ers were wandering from club to club, each one being taken down by the "OC curse" finally the majority settled down in the Tokio Hotel club.
A day passed by and all of the clubs that had previously been deleted got restored, all apart from the OC'ers home( :c awwh ) and it became apparent that the other clubs deletions had been a glitch of some sort, but as a notification that appears on "Contact us" reads:-
4 days ago:- Amy Diamond, Twilight, OC
"These clubs are currently under review and investigation"
It turned out that Stardoll Staff were cleaning and reviewing the clubs that had gotten deleted and removing topics which they felt were going against their one-stop rules.
Some time passed and then...BOOM!
Topics every couple of minutes about deleted accounts, OC'ers were in panic, switching to their back-ups and others worrying about if they were next(I and a couple of other's began calling this the Stardoll Apocalypse) and in the span of a couple of days, many had lost their accounts to deletion.
We also saw the appearence of a new warning on the club page:-

So I popped into TH today and saw, to my surpise a topic made by clubcreator, the original owner of Stardoll Royalty and owner of many official clubs on Stardoll.
It seems Stardoll really is inforcing the rules now.

The Starpointing system, the only thing that hadn't altered over the
Stardoll ages, replaced by an ugly, eye-sore of a Starleveling
monstrosity.
Royalty Diamonds and Superstar Stars pushed down underneath our icons so
ugly, horrid, tacky looking crowns could take their place, broadcasting to the Stardollie World exactly what you are whether you like it or not.
On June the 14th 2012, Stardoll "Leveled up", replacing the Starpointing with a new "up to date" way to earn points called "Starleveling" where instead of earning a certain amount of points to get an item you now have to reach a certain level.
Personally, I don't like this new system and absolutely dispise both the green bar thing that shows our progess and the crown(I WANT MY PWETTY DIAMOND BACK!!! D<)there was nothing wrong with the Starpointing system, in my opinion and Stardoll should have left it alone.
Before I end up on a rant, let's move on.
I asked the club "Stardoll Royalty" what their thoughts on this new system were:-
I just wish we could see how many starpoints we had and the crown
wasn't on our frame thing or at least have a different color for it. I
would like diamond back.

I have mixed feelings.
I suppose it's easier for younger children to understand, and even for teenagers, a quick look shows you how 'high up' you are.
I like the fact you can see starpoint hair in beauty parlour, and apparently it'll become easier to get starpoints and level up.
On
the other hand, the design is ugly. Yellow and green? (yucky) It was
also a big dissapointment (sp?) that they got rid of the royalty
diomand, it was a lovely classy picture next to our doll!
I think there should be different crown designs for each rank (non ss, ss, Royalty, Staff) or at least a nicer design!
I don't think stardoll will get rid of the levels system, so we better get used to it....

I dont mind it, but it feels like a competition to get higher levels
than your friends, whereas with starpoints, it wasn't on show to
everyone beside your medoll in an ugly crown!

It seems as if Stardoll has made it so that we're competing against each
other to get the highest level. I also think it's completely
unnecessary that it has to appear everywhere next to our username. It's
an eyesore.
But what really annoyed me was that it replaced the place of the royalty diamonds. They were pretty.
I
also just miss the starpoints system because it was simpler in my
opinion, say if you had 4000 starpoints and then the next day you got 12
you would have 4012. Now, it's all confusing because you don't even
know how many starpoints you have, just levels.
The good thing that
came out of it was that you can get rewards earlier, but this is unfair
to older members who have had to work very hard to get rewards and now
it's much easier for everyone else.
