I just got back from buying a 3DS XL to find...
YES! After a long wait, we are finally able to sell Stardesign hair.
I might sell my cat ears, I'm unsure.
Can my day get any better?!

Apparently it's been up a few days!
How could I have missed that? I'm usually so up-to-date with SDR news.
By the looks of the results, we'll be having Stardoll Staff dolls...great, just great. As much as I like the Staff members, I think it would be so much more special to see unique individual members with their own dolls...

Superdoll~

A couple of months ago a member of SDR created a topic wondering how Mette and other members of Staff got Starpoints(-sniff-) so quickly and a little later on in that same topic, someone said they had super-powers which inspired me.

This was the birth of "Superdoll"

I decided to create a marvel like version of Stardoll and thought it would be a fun thing we could all work on so I posted a topic about it on SDR and there was so much enthusiasm over it. 

After letting the topics fade away somewhat, in hope some would forget about it until we all finished school and I would have more time to work on this side project of mine I started working on the main Villian "Drama Llama"
My intentions were to surprise the members tomorrow by showing them the sneak peak of this chibi cute looking menace, but someone posted a topic asking what had happened so, obviously I had to reveal my intentions so it's no longer a surpise.

From up-close, he does look a little sheepish(baaaahaha, see what I did there) but I can assure you when I post the whole thing you will see he is in fact a Llama.

Anyone can participate in this.
Whether you wish to contribute to storylines/boards, art work or just ideas in general!

I love that cat :3 I bought one.

I'm off to make an Olympic themed room now, hence this post being sort, I may add more later, but for now this is goodbye!

The Olympics: 3 days away.

 Unless you're a hermit, living in a cave without any source of communication, you will know that the Olympics is a meer three days away.
 Ever since Greece lit and handed over the torch, I've had a roller-coaster of feelings for this massive, global event.
 The media here is going nuts(obviously seeing as Great Britain is the host and London is holding them) for it and for the past week or so the majority of programmes have all been about sport or something to do with the Olympics.
 I've gone from being mildly excited, to being narked off then to an almost "Baaah humbug" attitude..now, I don't know whether I'm super excited or just.. neutral about the whole thing. One thing is clear though, I know for a fact I sharnt be abandoning my blessed Wales and stepping onto English soil all for the sake of a sports event, the TV is good enough, thank-you.

What's this got to do with Stardoll, you're probably wondering?
Well I've been thinking of selling my Team GB, Union Jack inspired tops to support the team, but I just don't know.
 Would any of you like to buy one?

As most of you will know, I ran for Covergirl  yesterday to promote Bullying Awareness.
I may have missed out yet again for CG, but I did win NCG, so a massive thank-you and cuddles to all those who support Silent Tears and voted for me.
 I'm sorry to those who missed out on the title, I know how saddening it is when you waste so many stardollars for nothing.

Frankie Morello Tribute! (New store and more)

Get ready for the Olympics with the Frankie Morello Tribute!
There's quite a lot to say about this collection, so let's first take a look at the store.

Very nice pieces, brilliant quality with a few items(hot stud skirt being one) animated.
Pricey, but that's what all Tribute stores are.
I adore the the shoes *-*

There may be some confusion where there is the same jacket but for two different prices, that's because the one for 31 stardollars is animated while the 22 stardollar one is not.

Now, on to the third odd thing about this collection...
To those who got the Olympic pass...don't these look familiar?

Account Safety!

 No matter how honest a person may sound about giving you "free" superstar membership/making you Royalty/Making you Stardoll Staff: DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PASSWORD! 
 Even if it's your best friend on SD/IRL.
 98% of the time, the person who asks for your password with the promise of making/giving you something they really just want to mess with your account or take something.
 It's not considered "hacking" if you've fallen for their fake promises and actually freely given out your password.

 Would you willingly give a a stranger/friend the keys to your car?
 Your home?
 The pin number to yours/your parent's/legal guardian's card?
 Your most valuable possession?

No, the answer should be.

Then why on earth would you give someone your password? It's the key to your accounts.


What makes a strong password?
Something that includes capital letters, numbers and lowercase

Aim for something that's at least 8 characters long

Don't choose something easy like 1234 or aaaaaa1

Never use your username or anything like it for your password

Make it is something only you and you alone can remember.


Example of an excellent password:-
 $m3llycat
(Don't use as this just an example for what you should aim for your password)

Ramadan Calender!

Now I must say that the calender this year is very beautiful and that light you can see up the top highlighting the "4" is animated, it travels around the board.
 I love the whole night theme of the background, it's absolutely stunning!

J1T3 Dressed for gold (Task for MagnifiqueModels)

For a club I'm in, one of the tasks is to create sports wear supporting one country.
I chose GB simply because that is my country and the host this year.
My inspiration for these designs was the Union Jack which combines all of the countries that make up Great Britain, a sign of unity, strong bonds and what was once and may still be: a force to be reckoned with! Much like our Olympians will be!
 I tried to spice up the union jack to make it look more "tough" by not making it perfect, misshapen and at odd angles but also I tried to make each design very "RAWR IN YOUR FACE!!! We're Team GB" without having to state "GB" on the design.

HUGE Coin Necklace

Special Offer item has a very terrible glitch. When you drag it to the doll, it's almost as big as her!
You can find it on the first page of the plaza under "new"

New Tingeling Glitch!! 11starCOINS

Hurry before they correct it!

New Tingeling! (New Floors)

Four new floors of Tingeling came out today.

Personally I don't think there's look very Tingling.
Very bright colours, decent graphics.
Only about one or two things there that I'd actually consider buying though.
This store is not on the 3 For 2 sale because of this new collection I suppose.

I asked club Tokio Hotel (aka the OC'ers) what their opinions on this new collection are:-

"Tingling" used to be so fancy and "magical", like clothing from a fairytale, now it just looks like most clothes on here.

3 For 2 This Time Is NOT A Glitch

I just found this in my inbox, so there we have it.
This time the 3 for 2 isn't a glitch and can be confirmed as real.
So spend spend spend!!! ^-^

The Brave Shop will be for Face Paints

A new option has been added to the make-up remover and with the spoiler of a green paint can I and a couple of others have come to the conclusion that the new Brave store will be for Face paints.

What the hell, Stardoll?!

What the hell has Stardoll done to our dolls?
They've added "shadowing" to the cheeks and nose...
I moved hair pieces so you could get a better example of my doll with this change.
The cheeks are fine but that nose...
That's not a shadow, that's a beebing butterfly...no...just no, Stardoll.
Stop messing with things that don't need to be messed with!!!
If you agree that this has ruined our dolls, send this message to the staff:-

"Dear Stardoll,
I have noticed a couple of "shadows" have been added to our dolls to make them look more realistic, I suppose, but I don't think that is the case.
 The one inbetween the eyes/eyebrows, above the nose looks more like a faded butterfly tattoo or a birthmark, instead of enhancing my doll I think it completely wrecks his/her face, please could you remove this new shadow from my doll.

Hm...how strange two massive 3 for 2 sales in the space of a couple of days.
I'm 90% sure that Stardoll has a heck of a lot of glitches currently and this isn't supposed to be happening.

New Contest!

Martha's tips for creating a winning outfit:-
1) Shorts.
On the majority of Google Image search results for "Festival Outfits" shorts are an essential part of the style.
2) A Jacket
Leather, Jean, Plaid, it really doesn't matter.
3) Boots
Long, ankle, Ugg, Fluffy, again doesn't matter.
You wouldn't want to go traping around through a muddy field in high heels.
4) Bright Colours
Try not to go for all dull and dark colours, as Summer is supposed to be all colourful and cheery. Go for bright shades.
5) A Scarf
Scarves are a really good fashionable accessory which boost the style factor of any kind of outfit.

The Employee Code

As most of you know by now, I tend to no longer visit the club "Stardoll Royalty" but today(seeing as my club "x_Escape_x" is kinda dead at the moment) I decided to just to check up and see if things are still like how I left them and I was met by the sight of a Hotspot topic made by Callie.Stardoll.

Looks like the whole "Employee Code" bull poop is starting to become rather a worrying matter.
I've never believed in such things and who ever does...well...you really shouldn't be so gullible.
Your accounts are safe as long as you don't allow anyone to have access to your password. You don't/shouldn't believe people when they promise things like free SS and Royalty and the same counts for this "Employee Code" as it's completely fake.
 If you get a message from anyone stating that they can give you this code, report them or make it known to others that the person is lying.
 Would you give a complete stranger the pin to your credit card or the keys to your house/car? No, you wouldn't if you had any sense.
 The same counts for passwords.

If someone tells you they can do any of the examples mentioned above, tell me so I can make a note and warn others
What I don't quite get is...why Stardoll isn't letting every member known themselves, only notifying the Royalty members o.O;

SDWMM Update and 3 for 2 sale over!

First of all I would like to thank all of you who have discovered and stuck with us for the past month. I can't believe this has already greeted my eyes:-

Also, we gained another follower today, bringing that total up to 8!

Moving on.
The sale has now ended and the plaza is back to normal, or so I've heard, apart from a couple of stores which still have the lable attached.

Stardoll gone into hayewire?!

 First the majority of the Plaza on 3 for 2...
Now a few members(e.g: Laurenps) I've been chatting away with on USD has said that they can't get onto Stardoll due to an update screen popping up, disabling them from even logging in.
 I've heard of other's suites/plazas(bazaar works fine, strangely) not loading and in one case everything in the plaza for one member has just "poofed", vanished, gone.
 Things are in meltdown
Mine is working perfectly(other than the usual glitches I get now and again)...how strange.

In club Tokio Hotel (where the OC'ers are currently staying) there's also been reports of strange occurrences

I was trying to change my outfit for half an hour it wouldn't save :s -_sweetlena_
